Theclina Theophilou has gained an MSc in Psychology from the Open University of UK and has studied Systemic Psychotherapy and Couples Therapy at the Systemic Institute of Cyprus under the administration of Vicky Balomenou and teaching by Stavros Karpouchtsis and Anna Emmanouilidou, among others. During her studies in systemic therapy, she acquired the diploma in Solution Focused Practice under the guidance of Evan George of the Brief Institute, London. She has also trained in Traumatherapy with EMDR and CRM at the Institute of Traumatherapy in Athens by Domna Vendouratou. Moreover, she has attended seminars in Art Therapy at the Metàfora Institute in Barcelona and in Expressive Arts Therapy at the European Graduate School in Switzerland by the teacher and co-founder of the modality, Paolo Knill, along with Margo Fuchs, Ellen G. Levine and Sally Atkins.  

She is an ECP (European Certificate of Psychotherapy) holder by the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP) and full member of the Pancyprian Association of Psychotherapy since 2019 (Reg. No.: 075–FMPAP –SF). She is also a member of EMDR Hellas.
